Affordable, compact SUV looks set to focus on technology and practicality with top chips and plentiful storage spaces.
Leapmotor has released interior images of the A10 compact SUV, known internationally as the B03X, as the model approaches its market debut next month following an ongoing blind pre-order campaign.
It features a typically clean Leapmotor dashboard design with horizontal lines, protruding air vents in a barrel-like unit, and embedded ambient lighting with a digital pattern etched in.
The exterior of the A10 was originally shown at the Guangzhou Auto Show last November but the new images are the first look at the interior, with the model new compact SUV expected to take on the BYD Atto 2, sitting as it will beneath the Leapmotor B10.
Despite its expected budget price tag, which Leapmotor has confirmed will start from less than RMB 100,000, the A10 will be available with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip, the current market flagship, and the Snapdragon 8650 ADAS chip for a high-level of autonomous functionality.

(Image slightly edited to remove design relics on original image, so some details may not be exactly accurate.)
The images reveal two screens, with an 8.88-inch digital instrument display for the driver, seemingly no option for a head-up display, and a 14.6-inch 2.5K floating touchscreen in the centre, running Leapmotor’s own Leap operating system.
Additional interior appointments include what we would expect to be a 15W wireless smartphone charging pad alongside twin cup holders, though this has been left anonymous in the image, as well as, surprisingly, heated and ventilated front seats, according to the icons on the screen.
Dual-zone climate control will also feature alongside a 360-degree camera, and a curious icon on the centre screen also appears to be some kind of robot.
It could be the A10’s artificial intelligence assistant which utilises Alibaba’s Qwen technology, designed to enhance voice interaction between occupants and vehicle systems.
Leapmotor appears keen to reinforce its family credentials with the images showing a number of convenience and practicality features for the rear seats and boot, with the most distinctive being a large concealed storage area under the rear bench which tilts upwards.
There’s also plentiful leg room in the second row, and a panoramic roof with an electric canopy to keep the sun out of the cabin on hot days.
The rear driver’s seat back also features a fold down tray table with built-in cupholder for extra convenience, while in the boot there’s a very large underfloor storage area similar to that found on much larger SUVs like the NIO ES8.
The exterior design follows Leapmotor’s “Tech Natural Aesthetics 2.0” philosophy, featuring a sealed front grille arrangement with soft, irregular-shaped headlight units.
Six paint options will be available: Seaweed Green, Acorn Brown, Berry Blue, Tundra Grey, Starlight Silver, and Morgan Pink.
Technical specifications show the A10 measures 4270mm long, 1810mm wide, and 1635mm tall, with a 2605mm wheelbase positioning it squarely in the compact SUV segment.
The drivetrain centres on a single electric motor producing 90kW of maximum power, while two battery configurations are offered: a 39.8kWh unit delivering 403km of CLTC range, and a larger 53kWh pack extending range to 505km on the same cycle. Fast charging capability allows the battery to charge from 30 to 80% in 16 minutes.
